All of the stylists at Brushed Hair Salon strive to create a healthy salon environment, where everyone feels safe, respected and heard. Our color consultations are thorough and use color analysis to determine tones that will compliment YOUR skin and eyes for the most natural, youthful look.

Kerri

Kerri, owner of Brushed and co-owner of True Hair Education is passionate about sharing her knowledge of all things hair and her love of the industry with other stylists and salon owners. Supporting the Brushed team is her focus and sharing her vast knowledge is a true love.

She has created an in depth, fast paced apprenticeship program where motivated stylists learn everything they need to confidently start their career behind the chair.

When Kerri is not supporting the Brushed team she offers 1:1 coaching to other salon owners, helping them with obstacles that have been holding them back from getting to the next level in their salon business.

Cortney

Cortney, our lead stylist, is a seasoned stylist with 21 years of experience. She specializes in natural looking hair color, razor cuts, dry cutting and precision cutting. She has a passion for teaching and educating her clients. Cortney believes communication and education is the key to achieving hair success. She will spend the time with you ensuring you have a thorough consultation so you leave with hair you love!

Caitlin

Caitlin has been licensed for over 15 years but holds a lifetime of experience from spending time at her family’s hair salon. After earning a degree in communications and a minor in business at Plymouth State, she decided to dive into her true love, hair. You will often find Caitlin at school events or in the pick up and drop off lines, as she resides here in Newburyport with her young family. Caitlin specializes in cutting all hair textures and color services that enhance your natural skin tone and desired maintenance level.

Spencer

Spencer is just as passionate about beauty, health and making people feel beautiful as when she took her very first client over 14 years ago. She is an exceptional listener, taking care to be sure each client feels heard and is passionate about helping clients obtain their hair goals while educating them on achievable and complimentary styles to their lifestyle, face shape and coloring.

Ava

After going to college for a semester

Ava felt lost and decided to switch gears and enroll in hair school, which had always been a career that she found fascinating. Lucky for us she was already a client and jumped on The Brushed Team! Ava is a local girl, she graduated from Newburyport HS and enjoys the beach as well as playing and coaching volleyball. Ava loves soft, dimensional color that enhances natural eye and skin tone.

Emily

Emily is new to the Newburyport area after moving from the South Shore. Her focus is on healthy, lived in color and haircuts. Emily is naturally curious and will take the time to be sure she understands what each client desires and set a plan to help them reach their hair goals. When Emily I isn't making hair dreams come true she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
